Staying COVID safe with CADS
Our Covid Secure Strategy is aimed at returning to swimming for all our swimmers from Competitive training to our Learn to swim school. To do this we need to ensure that the environment is safe and COVID secure. The details and documents on this page will help you understand how we operate as a club under the current restrictions imposed upon us all.
Exit Strategy.
Our exit strategy was produced using the knowledge and experience of committee members and volunteers who are managing the COVID - 19 in the working environment, some of whom are front line staff, members of a COVID task force or working in around the restrictions.
Risk Assessments
As part of return to swimming Swim England required a specific Covid Risk Assessment be produced that was suitable and sufficient to manage the risk of the Coronavirus being transmitted whilst swimming along with other associated activities. Whilst every pool has its own Risk Assessment the general content of each risk assessment was built around the main principles detailed be Swim England.
Returning to Swim
With in Swim England's COVID Secure Procedures every swimming return to swim after lockdown will need to complete 2 forms prior to attending your first session, the forms can forward to our membership secretary membership.cads@gmail.com for by handing them to a COVID Liaison officer. The forms can be downloaded by click on the relevant button.
Swim England Club COVID personnel
Our governing body has introduced 2 roles to help with managing the transmission of the Coronavirus. These roles are an important part of a club being able to continue to operate. The roles introduced are a COVID-19 Lead and Liaison Officers. The COVID-19 Lead roles has allocated to the clubs Chairman Chris, A number of volunteers have come forward to take on the role of COVID Liaison Officer. Our volunteer coordinator Becky is planning which officer will attend each session. The club really appreciates everyone who is volunteering in these roles.
